Friend of Student Success Award
Description:
One award will be given to an on-campus individual or department outside of the Division of Student Success and another award for a person or organization outside of the university who has collaborated and contributed to the success of a department or departments within the Division of Student Success. Thanks to their relationship and effort they have made a tangible difference in moving the division forward in accomplishing its mission and objectives.
Eligibility:
- Any individual or team outside of the Division of Student Success who has been an asset in partnering and supporting a program or goal of a department in the Division of Student Success.
Criteria:
The selection committee considers but is not limited to the following:
- A person or team who has contributed beyond their scope of normal work to support department program or activity within Student Success.
- A person or team who, without them, a goal or major objective for the department would not have been realized.
- A person or team who has contributed to the success of students in the areas of engagement & involvement, access & support, health & wellness, or the residential experience.
- A person or team who has contributed to the success of the program or activity on a particular student community.
Process:
Completed nomination packets must include:
- Examples and evidence that demonstrates the outcome and impact of the program or activity on a particular student community.
