Alcohol and Drug Compliance Services (ADCS) is dedicated to supporting student success by providing services that help students complete sanctions mandated through a judicial process, primarily the university's Student Conduct process or through a municipal court.

Attorney for Students (AFS) serves students by providing them with critical legal counsel, limited scope representation, and practical education concerning their legal rights and responsibilities.

Campus Recreation engages our diverse Texas State community by providing innovative and inclusive recreation and employment opportunities to cultivate lifelong wellbeing.

The Compassion Advocacy Resources & Education (CARE) Center enhances student retention and promotes student success by providing compassion, advocacy, resources and education. 

Career Services empowers the diverse Texas State community to develop their potential and enhance their personal excellence and professional marketability by providing strategic career guidance and opportunities to connect with employers worldwide.

The Counseling Center supports the wellbeing and resiliency of students as they navigate life while enrolled at Texas State University. Services include consultation, crisis response, brief counseling, prevention activities and educational workshops/webinars.

The Dean of Students Office strives to set standards of excellence in the delivery of student services and to foster a welcoming environment that is inclusive, safe, and conducive to learning.

The mission of the Office of Disability Services (ODS) is to promote equal access to all university programs and activities for students with disabilities. The ODS provides institution-wide advisement, consultation, and training on disability-related topics, collaborates with partners to identify and remove barriers to foster an all-inclusive campus, and provides individual services and facilitates accommodations to students with disabilities. 

There are 33 social Greek-letter fraternities and sororities under the supervision of the Dean of Students Office. Each of the fraternities and sororities belongs to one of four governing councils.

Named after TXST Alumnus George Strait, George's is the perfect place to hang out on campus. Located on the 1st floor of the LBJ Student Center, students are surrounded by a fun and lively environment. Complete with pool tables and ping pong tables, stop by to play or come for one of our various events.

Health Promotion Services strives to help students succeed academically and personally by promoting healthy lifestyles and creating a healthy campus environment at Texas State. We work collaboratively to enhance the health of students through individual and environmental approaches that involve education, social marketing, advocacy, policy and research.

Every year more than 3,100 students participate in our Intramural Sports program and we are hopeful to see you out there.  Intramural Sports offers a variety of events and activities.  Bring your friends, start a team, sweat a little, & have fun - Intramural Sports has a division just for you.

The mission of the Leadership & Service area of Student Involvement is to educate Texas State University students to lead and civically engage in the global community.

New Student and Family Experiences exists to welcome new Bobcats into the Texas State Family. Through programs like New Student Orientation, Bobcat Welcome Week, and Family Weekend, we create shared experiences that establish a firm foundation for student success.

The Office of the Vice President for Student Success serves as the gateway to the division. It provides leadership to the division and serves as a liaison to the larger Texas State community. The office embraces the divisional mission to provide high quality, supportive programs, and services to ensure the success of our diverse student population. We create and foster a safe, inclusive, and engaged community focused on maximizing student potential for career success, and life-long learning.

Sewell Park resides just below the headwaters of the spring-fed, crystal clear San Marcos River, and remains 72-degrees year round. You can relax outdoors while taking advantage of two sand volleyball courts, open spaces for informal recreation, an outdoor basketball court, and numerous picnic spots great for relaxing and eating a meal.

Peer Mentors are upper-level students who provide continued positive peer support to help students transition to Texas State socially and academically.

The Student Behavior Assessment Team (SBAT) provides consultations to those who have expressed concern about the behavior of a student who appears potentially dangerous to the university community or could be disruptive to the academic mission of the university.

Student Conduct and Community Standards (Student Conduct) in the Dean of Students Office has primary responsibility for the administration of the student conduct system.

Student Government is the primary recognized forum for student opinion and our focus is to represent the student interests and concerns to administration while providing activities and services we deem useful to students. Student Government exists to represent the student voice to the faculty and administration.

The Student Learning Assistance Center supports the Bobcat community through a variety of academic support programs including a walk-in tutoring lab, Online Writing Lab, Supplemental Instruction, Veteran Academic Success Center, and excellent online resources.

Texas State University Ombuds Services provides a confidential place for employees and students to discuss and clarify concerns, identify options, and discover problem-solving strategies to constructively navigate and overcome disputes and problems.

The Student Service Fee Committee makes a recommendation each year to the vice president for Student Success for the administration of the Student Service Fee, who is responsible for approving, disapproving, or adjusting the recommendation prior to routing to university administration. In accordance with the Texas Educational Code, the committee will allocate funds for programs that provide direct services for students and that are separate and apart from the regularly scheduled academic functions of the institution (Texas Education Code Sec. 54.503).

Student Success Technology Services assists in the management of information technology resources within the Division of Student Success. It provides support and guidance to our users and serves as a liaison to the larger Texas State IT community. The office embraces the divisional mission to provide high quality services to ensure the success of the departments we support.

Success Coaching promotes academic excellence by helping students reach their highest potential. Our coaches are enthusiastic, caring, and non-judgmental individuals who will help you go from good to great!

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a nontraditional form of tutoring that focuses on collaboration, group study, and interaction for assisting students in undertaking "traditionally difficult" courses.

The STUDY (formerly “The Lab”) offers tutoring provided by students specializing in business, science, writing, math, and more. Walk-in tutoring is available in the Alkek Library, Falls/Sayers residence hall, and Jowers Center, or make an appointment for small group tutoring in Alkek. The STUDY is fee-funded so no additional cost is required. 

At 126 acres, University Camp hosts over four miles of hiking and biking trails and sweeping views of the Blanco River and the river valley. Offering a variety of year-round outdoor recreation such as, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing, University Camp is an ideal location for special events, family gatherings, or a day getaway.

University Health Services is your one-stop healthcare clinic on campus. Students can stay on campus to get high-quality comprehensive medical care from experienced providers — physicians, nurses practitioners, nurses, and health educators. Lab tests and X-rays are performed on site.

The Veteran Academic Success Center (VASC) is a collaborative effort between the university and the department of Veterans Affairs to provide military-connected students with resources and a peer assistance program to support academic success.
